Welcome

Welcome to Martialartswellness! My name is Tim Parisi. I am a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, and am pursuing a Black Belt in Hapkido. I began training martial arts in 1995 under Taekwondo World Champion Master Kwon, of Tiger Kwon’s Martial Arts in New Lenox, IL. Since then, I have trained internationally under a total of 3 world champions, one of which was Olympic Bronze medalist. I spent a year training in Korea, the home of Taekwondo and Hapkido. I have trained in other styles as well. I instruct Kickboxing, both as a cardio workout, and as a competitive sport. As a teenager I was a state finalist in wrestling and have recently begun training in grappling and Mixed Martial Arts as well.

The martial arts come in many forms including self defense, sport, artistic, and fitness based.
